Rae Boyer Obituary

Age 88, of 3480 Bee Lane, Beloit, WI, went to be with her Lord on October 30, 2005. She was born December 29, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Esther (Condron) Talbot. Rae married Donald Boyer, who preceded her in death. She moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1939 and graduated from the Columbia College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1971. Rae later moved to Beloit to live with her daughter Peggy and son-in-law Harley Wall. She loved to golf, travel and always had a good book in hand. Rae was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Beloit, WI.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Peggy (Harley) Wall of Beloit, WI; nieces and nephews, Robert Talbot, Mary Talbot Squibb, Mark Talbot and Suzanne Talbot. She is also survived by her very special friends of many years, Dolores and Alice Kopsar and friends Rueben and Ethel Navarro and Martha Haagensen.

She was predeceased by her mother and father; a sister, Jeanne Talbot Paro; three brothers, Harry "Bob" Talbot, William Talbot and Richard Talbot.

The family would like to give special thanks to her home caregivers, Evelyn Patterson and Libby Pearson who gave her very special care. The family would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Cheryl Miller who was always there for her when needed, Beloit Memorial Emergency Room, Beloit Memorial Hospital and the Beloit Paramedics. Special thanks to Father Gary Krahenbuhl and Sister Judy for her spiritual needs.

At Rae's request there will be no visitation. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere, Beloit, WI, with Father Gary Krahenbuhl, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are being handled by Hansen Funeral Home, 424 Prospect St., Beloit, WI.
