RANDY RAY BOYER, age 63, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on September 8, 1962 in Washington CH to the late Gordon Willis and Judith Edna (Hafer) Boyer. Randy was a 1981 graduate of Miami Trace High School and attended Ohio University in Athens. He had worked as a machine operator at the YUSA Corporation and then was evening manager at Ace Hardware for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and traveling to Tennessee and Florida.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Kramer, and brother, Scott Boyer.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Carrie Ann (VanDyke) Boyer, whom he married on April 4, 2004; his children, Seth Coil (Meagan), Heath Boyer (Angie), and Candice Fast; grandchildren, Karly Coil, Michael Coil, Logan Fast, and Emily Morter; brother, Guy Boyer; nephews, Devin Boyer (Alyssa), and Schuyler Boyer; mother-in-law, Nancy VanDyke; and brother-in-law, Bryan VanDyke. Also surviving are several cousins along with a host of friends.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
