Ralf Walter Obituary

Walter, Ralf P. Born September 1, 1948. Found Eternal Peace January 25, 2013. Survived by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Connerney); son Derrick (Terri) Walter, daughter Deanne Walter; Opa to granddaughter Tia and grandson Dawson; Beloved brother of Ray (Kathryn) Walter, Goldy (David) Wood, and Roland (Terry) Walter. Also survived by uncles and aunts in Milwaukee and Germany including Horst Walter and Elke (Peter) Schölzchen as well as loving nieces and nephews Mariah (Garrett) Baltezegar, Sarah Walter, Zachary Walter, Benjamin (Melanie) Toth, Katie (Kevin) Tiesing, Michelle Wood, Deanna Schwenner and Michael Schwenner; and great nieces, great-nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and many friends and colleagues around the world. Predeceased and now reunited with his parents Helmut and Charlotte Walter and mother-in-law Virginia Connerney. Ralf was born in Salzgitter, Germany, and at age 4, moved with his father and mother to Wisconsin. Later, all became U.S. citizens. Ralf was raised in Milwaukee and Mequon and was a 1966 graduate of Homestead High School, a 1971 graduate of UW-Milwaukee majoring in Mathematics and German, and had multiple certificates from MSOE. Ralf was world travelled working in manufacturing engineering, tooling and sales with Buffoli Transfer S.p.A., TPS International, Komet of America and Milwaukee Valve. Above all, Ralf was a family man who often spoke of the importance of family. Ralf asked about and showed great interest in family and the people whose lives he touched. Ralf enjoyed technology and was a master with his computer and other devices. He took pleasure in travel, photography, music, nature, beaches and warm weather. Ralf's life will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on March 15th at a gathering at Valhalla Memorial Park Chapel, 5402 N. 91st Street, Milwaukee. Ralf will be missed, loved and forever remembered.
