Ralph E. Marker

1924 - 2016

Marker, Ralph E. Age 91. Born November 5, 1924 to Ivan and Sarah Marker in Germantown, Ohio. Went to the Lord on October 3, 2016. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Gloria (Nee Thew). Cherished father of Linda, Randall, and Brian. Dear brother of Donald (Janice) and the late Betty Jane Noordhoff and Joanna Preston. Proud WWII Navy Veteran, serving in the European and Africa area on the USS Philadelphia as a radioman. Graduated from Miami University, Ohio with a BS degree in business administration and worked as a store manager and later in food sales. Ralph loved sports, especially college games and travel. He was a hard working (into his mid 80's) humble man with a dry sense of humor. He was thrilled to take the May 2010 Stars and Stripes Honor Flight and attended the Field of Honor event in 2012. Proud member of Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Visitation at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, 2366 N. 80th Street, Wauwatosa on Saturday, November 12th from 10 AM to 11AM.
