Ray was a wonderful neighbor. We loved chatting with him around school and the community. He clearly adored children and his grandchildren.

Hi. I´m so sorry to hear about the death of Ray. I have great memories of Ray (and his Dad) from when I was in Boy Scouts. Ray was a year older than me and someone I really looked up to (physically, too). I remember how he would hold his hands flat with arms extended straight down while he ran faster than anyone else in our troop. He was a person that encouraged me to advance in Boy Scouts. Even as a young man he was a great guy. Thanks.

Is this the Ray who was in Boy Scout Troop 149 that used to meet at Grantosa Drive Elementary School on the northwest side of Milwaukee?

Susan and family, I choked up when I saw this obit today. John and I are so very sorry about Ray's passing. We remember the good times at swim meets with Evan and Tom. Please extend our sympathies to Tom, his brother, and kids. With heavy hearts, John and Susan Gruzis
