Raymond Doherty Obituary

Doherty, Raymond R. July 5, 2008, at the age of 77 years. Of Greenfield, formerly of Marquette, MI. Beloved husband for 53 years of Eleanor (nee Rychlewski). Dear father of Deborah (Mark) Kucharski, the late Jim and Robert Doherty. Loving grandpa of Sarah (Rick) Kling, Vicki, Matthew and Laura Kucharski and Erin Doherty. Great-grandpa of Hailey, Kiersten and Summer. Brother of the late Kay (Louis) DePetro. Also survived by aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Wed., July 9, at 9:30AM from the funeral home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, S. 41st and W. Oklahoma Ave. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8PM with a prayer service at 6:30PM. Mr Doherty served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 2 years and was employed at Wehr Steel for 33 years. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Divgi and the Oncology Alliance, the staff at St. Luke's ICU, especially nurse Ruth, the staff at Southpointe Rehab and the Zilber Family Hospice Staff for the compassionate care given to Raymond.
