To the Gehrke Family,

So sorry to hear about your loss. Dick was a great guy. I have fond memories of deer hunting with him and of course some "on the job" advise.

Dad,
I miss you so very much. You will always be my big, strong deputy sheriff dad who took me to school, took the entire family on our very special vacation "up north". I so looked forward to that every year. And then you and Mom were fortunate enough to retire early and build your dream home on that same lake we vacationed at every year. You always supported me throughout the years, even though sometimes you didn't agree or understand the decisions I had to make. You gave me love and comfort and lots of wonderful memories I will now have to rely on to keep me going each day you are no longer with me. Watch over me and my family; I know you will always be with us. Thank you for your love and guidance; I love and miss you terribly.

Hi Gramps-
I am so glad I got to spend some of the last days of your life with you the past year...I cherished every minute. I will always remember all the good times, all the good memories, and all the good laughs! The most fondest memories from being "up north"! (Of course!)
I already miss you.
My friends and I have already had a few beers in your honor, and in memory of you!
Mark misses you too, no more beers to share in the basement! He will take good care of all the cars you gave him over the years...he loves each and everyone of them!
All of your children & grandchildren will remember you in their own special way.....
And, don't worry...we will take good care of Grandma. She misses you already!
Love, Lori (Mark & Max too!)
