Richard W. "Dick" Kunkel

Kunkel, Richard W. "Dick" Entered Eternal Life on Friday, December 7, 2012, at the age of 80 years. Loving father of the late Jeff (Andrea), Richard, and Lori Torner (Chuck). Former beloved husband of their mother, Barbara. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey (Laura), Nick (Angela), Ben (Ashley), Rachel, Jenny, and Cathy. Loving partner and best friend of Bev Henn for thirty-two years. He is further survived by Bev's loving children Laurie (Ken), Cindy (Jim), Jeff (Cathy), and Steve (Diane), and Bev's grandchildren Nicole (Grady), Amy, Tyler, Lexy, Riley, Shelby, Darby, and Liam. Survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends, especially Dean, Bob, George, Paul and Don. In addition to his son Jeff, Dick was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Ruth (nee Hammond) Kunkel and brother Tom (Janet). He was an avid woodworker, golfer, and cribbage player. Dick owned and operated numerous businesses in the area during his life; including Dick's Hometown Gas Station, Pogo's Pub, and Mildale Beer & Liquor. Visitation for Dick will be on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the funeral home from 4 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 10 AM, at St. Mary Cemetery (N88 W13600 Main Street, Menomonee Falls). Please meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, memorials appreciated to the Germantown Legion (P.O. Box 321 Germantown, WI 53022).
