Richard Strauss Obituary

Strauss, Richard F. "Dick" Of Moore Haven, FL passed away suddenly on June 23, 2015, at the age of 79 in Moore Haven, FL. He is lovingly survived by his significant other Joan Strauss and his children Susan Liskey, Cynthia (David) Murphy, Linda (Marvin) Twedell, Corey Strauss and Dean Strauss. Proud grandpa of Jennifer Petersen, Richard (Stacey) Gleason, Joshua (Stacey) Gleason, Shannon Gleason, Kari O'Brien, Jason Twedell, Ross Twedell, Jenna Twedell, Eric (Sara) Murphy, Emily Murphy and Elissa Murphy. Dear brother of Kenneth (Gertie) Strauss, Alan (Lin) Strauss and Robert (Kris) Strauss. Further survived by 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Bertha Strauss and great-grandson Owen Gleason. He will be deeply missed. Akin-Davis Funeral Home of Labelle, FL assisted the family with arrangements.

No words can explain the loss of Grandpa! So many memories that will last a lifetime. Im not saying goodbye, I'm saying I will see you later. Owen will get to know his Great Grandpa. We will miss you Grandpa! Until we meet again. I love You!
