Rick was a great friend at work and we talked almost every day. He helped me a lot when I was the new guy and was always there for me when I needed him. After he left we saw each other a couple times and talked on the phone from time to time, especially about the business and bowling - he was always interested in how I was doing in my bowling league. Adam is right - he showed you the kind of friend that you want to be.

Rick was a good friend, mentor and always willing to lend a hand. The kind of selfless friend we can aspire to be. Thank you Rick. I will miss you.

I couldn't have asked for a better more loving, giving brother than you Rick. Mom and Dad taught you from the day I was born to love and protect me and you always did. If I needed something you were there. If I needed someone to talk to you were there. No matter what I could count on you.
I am so honored and very blessed to have been able to be there with you and for you during the difficult times you were going through. Your life was so shortened, but I have so many wonderful memories from our childhood years on up and I will always cherish those wonderful memories in my heart.
I know you're not suffering anymore and you are definitely in a much better place. You are so lucky to be with mom and now we have two amazing angels watching over us. I will miss you dearly and will love you forever Rick

Rick was probably one of the nicest guys I knew. Funny and always seemed to be down to earth. He will be dearly missed by the ones that knew and loved him. Rest in Peace. Joe & Jan

RICK,YOUR FATHER AND I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU FOREVER
December 26, 2014
Rick was always a good friend to us for 43 years. He was always someone who could address your problems, sometime they turned into bigger problems, but those were taken care of too. His sense of humor was addictive. He could have a whole room laughing in no time at all. I can still hear him laughing. He had a heart as big as the world, and he had so many different ways to show it. We will miss him, but I think his Mom was missing him and needed him more than we do. I know he is resting safely in Jesus's arms. He doesn't have to worry or be afraid of what tomorrow might bring him. We love and miss him, but considering his health problems, it would be selfish to think he should still be here hurting. He's HOME safe now, and although it's hard to understand, this is the way God planned. He can rest now . We will think of him when the Packers play, missing his whooping and hollering. Yes,he was Rick and we all loved him. Denise Wentlandt
