To my dear sister Rita:
I know your in heaven with Mom and Dad.I miss you all so much.
The memories I have of our growing up always brighten my day. Mom and Dad always made sure we were OK.You,me,and Suzanne, what fun we had. The great times we had with all our uncles, aunts, and cousins will be in my heart forever.
For now I say good-by my dear sister Rita. I love you very much.

"The road was getting too rough to walk,
The hills too hard to climb,
So God closed Rita's weary eyes
And told her 'Peace be thine'."
---author unknown.
This verse was sent to me by a dear friend when my father passed away and it has always stuck with me. I hope it will bring some comfort to the rest of our family as we mourn Rita's passing.
I hadn't seen Rita in a number of years; time and distance separated us, but I have memories going back 40+ years of when we were all kids and I will never forget her laughter, wit, and generousity.
Goodbye, cousin.

To Rita's family: I send my sincere hope that each of you may find peace and consolement in this time of grief. Rita was a wonderful person who I was proud to say I knew as a neighbor and friend. May the Lord take care of each of you as He is taking care of Rita now.
Chris Pruitt,
neighbor at Pierce Street.
