You were always like a big sister to me when I was growing up. Now I wish I could find the words to give you strength. I was deeply saddened when I heard about your loss. I remember when you first started dating Rob and the two of you took me out for ice cream. Rob offered words of advice and encouragement as I was struggling with the adjustment of starting highschool. I knew he was a special guy for you. My heart goes out to you and to your boys. Sitting in mass today I realized that Rob was so much to everyone;a husband, a father, a brother, a son, a caregiver and a friend. He touched so many lives in such a short time. His compassion for his family and career was awesome. He is an inspiration to us all. We are here for you always.

Your husband and dad was an incredible man. It was a lot of fun being a class mate of his at Marquette because you knew it would be a lot more fun and interesting with him there. Although he may not walk among us now, he will never be forgotten by his many friends and patients to which he was so devoted.

Rob was such an important part of our life and we all will miss him so much. We are grateful for all that he has taught us. We have so many fond memories, it is difficult to share them all here. So we will share our stories and try to smile and thank God that we were fortunate to have crossed his path.
For Only A Short Time

For only a short time, Rob was a part of your life.
Luckily, you both meet and soon became his wife.
The two greatest gifts you received,
Certainly, Robby & Josh are it, I perceive.
These two boys are now your focus, strength and drive.
Each and every day you’re alive.
What's going on? This wasn't part of the plan.
I guess it's now your task to show those boys how to be a man.
Filling his shoes won't be an easy role,
His early leaving, is starting to take its' toll.
Lori, I will take special care of you now,
Some way, some time, some how.
If I could take away the pain and turn back the clock, I would
But this is not the time to say "I Should".
Why did God take him so fast?
This is the question we will always ask.
Lori, take your daily struggles to heart;

Rob was truly a gifted man and a rare friend. Nursing was only one of his special skills. He was quite adept at mounting drapery rods, hanging party decorations, shopping for groceries when I was sick, cheering for my sons at sporting events, taking them to movies, or delivering home remedies. Rob and Lori shared their love with family and friends in the simple moments of life and we will always be eternally grateful. Love, Sue, Andy and Jeremy.
