Robert "Bob" Cervay

1924 - 2016

Cervay, Robert "Bob" Of Dousman, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 92. He was born on August 9, 1924, the son of Frank and Edna Cervay. Bob married Ruth Sauthoff in June 1999. He proudly served his country during World War II. Bob was involved with the Engineering Department at Ohio State University, and he was a member of the Optimist Club, Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Pewaukee, and the Masonic fraternity. Bob was also a supporter of the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Bob loved dogs, especially his boxer, Major. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Linda (Roger) Weis; son, Wally (Karen) Sauthoff; and grandchildren, Maddison and Jordan. He is survived by other nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Jean in 1996; his parents; and sister, Geraldine Wysong. The visitation for Bob will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:30 AM until the time of the 11:00 AM funeral service at the Ewald Chapel at Three Pillars, 375 Hwy 67, Dousman, WI 53118. Burial will take place in Kansas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, PO Box 1525 Ranson, WV 25438.
