Robert Deckert Obituary

Deckert, Robert L. Entered Eternal Life on August 16, 2015. Resident of Marco Island, FL, formerly of Milwaukee. Born in Milwaukee, on August 20, 1924 to William L. and Myrtle Deckert (Nee Foley). Beloved husband of Julie Deckert (Nee Gotfredson) for 64 years. Loving father of Robin (Stephen) Maas, Connie (Thomas) Drew and Julie (Robert) Wright. Caring grandfather of Jack and Eric Drew. Bob was a life member of Ducks Unlimited and US Amateur Trap Shooting Association. He was a graduate of Milwaukee County Day School in 1944 (Now University School) and attended Ripon College and Lake Forest College. Under family ownership and management, W. L. Deckert Company, Milwaukee, WI, established over 100 years ago, is still thriving. Visitation will be held at the Feerick Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Due to early Saturday cemetery hours, private interment will take place prior to the visitation at Holy Cross Cemetery.
