Robert Deinlein Obituary

Deinlein, Robert Gerald Passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2014, at his lake home. Robert was born in 1958 in Milwaukee to the late Aileen and Gerald Deinlein. Our brother was always fascinated with motors. From an early age he built go-carts in the backyard and later partnered with Peter in Deinlein's Tri-City Services, a full-service auto repair shop. Cars and motors also made him a natural NASCAR fan. Robert was a loving brother to John, Mary (James) Connelly, Laura, Thomas (his twin) and Peter (Cindy) Deinlein. He enjoyed his nieces Ashley (Adam) Kent, Frances (Aaron) White, Madeline Connelly and Brittany (Rick) Callies. His sister Kathryn Ann Deinlein preceded him in death. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 21 from 4 PM until the time of Scripture service at 6:30 PM. Interment is private. Consider making a gift to Children's Dyslexia Center-Milwaukee, 790 North Van Buren Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202 to honor Robert.

We lived across the street from the Deinlein´s and one of my memories of Robby was when my mother used to make fried bread dough. He was one of the first neighborhood kids at the door-I swear he could smell it all the way from his house. He was always kind to everyone-especially the younger kids (Like me). I have wonderful memories of all the neighborhood kids playing games like Hide and Seek using the tree at the Wittig´s house for base, capture the flag at our house, the climbing tree at the Rabion´s and kickball in the street. When we moved, my dad gave Robby an old tv to tear apart and figure out how it worked. Rest in peace, Robby-I hope there´s a lot of things for you to fix and plenty of fried bread dough to eat in Heaven! -Donnna Gustainis Fuller

Deinleins,

Robbie was a character in his own right and will truly be missed. I had the pleasure of having him work on my various trucks over the years and will miss his relatively, good-natured ribbing every time I came in. I can only imagine the back-n-forth in heaven right now between him and Ron! Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

Dear Laura, Tom and Deinlein family,
Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope that memories of your brother will be a source of comfort to your family.

February 19, 2014

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I knew Robbie in my late teens, hanging out with him and the Timber crowd. Many good times and great memories from that part of our lives. I remember he drove me home one day and when I closed the door to his Mustang, the passenger window exploded. I felt terrible but it was pretty outrageous. We'll miss you Robbie.

Dear Peter and Family. I was shocked to read of Robert's passing. For years, when I lived in Milwaukee I had my cars serviced by your facilities. I always enjoyed having conversations with Robert. He was a good person as well as a good mechanic and friend. He will be truly missed. RIP Robert.
