Robert E. "Bobby" Hettenbach Jr.

Hettenbach, Robert E. Jr. "Bobby" After a courageous battle with kidney cancer, Bobby slipped away peacefully on Fri., Oct. 21, 2011, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born June 19, 1955, Bobby grew up in Kenosha and Milwaukee, graduated from Brookfield Central High School, went on to graduate from UW- Eau Claire and then worked in area paint supply businesses until his death. He was a huge Brewer, Badger and Packer fan, and was an awesome pool player, as his best friends Ralph and Steve will testify to. He was loved by everyone, and never had a harsh word to say about anyone. Bobby was especially proud of his nieces and nephews, following them to theater and dance productions and sporting events. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Bobby is survived by his father and mother, Robert Sr. and Joyce (nee Benjamin) his siblings and their spouses, Sue Kees (Dayton, OH), Linda Hettenbach (Brookfield, WI), Scott (JoDeen) Hettenbach (Madison, WI), his nieces and nephews, Katie and Scott Hettenbach, Jordan Kees, Becky Sylvester (Ed), Chelsea Bailey (Mike), Britton Gruenther (Alex) and great-niece and nephew, Ryan Sylvester and Ashley Bailey. Bobby's family would like to thank Dr. Lawrence Burkert and the nurses, PCA's and staff of Elmbrook Memorial Hospital and the Cancer Center, and his hospice caregivers for their support throughout his illness. Friends may visit to say their goodbyes on Tues., Oct. 25 from 9:00-9:45AM and participate in a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
