I had the pleasure of meeting Bob in July 2009 while we were both recovering from illnesses....I from knee surgery... at Brookfield Rehab. One day I saw him reading his WWII magazine, and shared with him that my dad was also WWII veteran. We visited every day after that until I was able to return to my home.
My most sincere sympathy goes to your entire family.

Our deepest sympathy go out to your family, we knew your father thru AMVETS, but your father knew my father, he used to bowl at your father's bowling alley, his name was Joe Ermenc, he always talked about the fun times he had with your father. Our memories were from the Post 61 picnic's thru out the years.

BOB WAS A DEAR FRIEND OF MY FATHER, AS WAS HIS BROTHER MATT. AS A YOUNG MAN BEFORE ENTERING THBE ARMY I USED TO SET PINS INN THE BOWLING ALLEY. MY SINCERE CONNDOLENCES TO ALL THE FAMILY AND A GOD BLESS TO MATT.
