Robert Schreier Obituary

Schreier, Robert L. Age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Loving father of Charles, William (Janet) and Santo. Beloved Papa of Patricia (Jaime), Travis (Connie), Trevor (Molly), Michelle, Jackie and Rob. Great-Papa of Mason, Landri, Keaton, Avery, Tyson, Connor and Alex. Special uncle of Matt (Alice) and Billie Jo. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation in the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2011, from 11 AM to 1:15 PM. Funeral Service with full Military Honors to follow at 1:30 PM. Bob was born in Milwaukee, WI, on March 28, 1925, a son of the late William and Anna (nee Roemer) Schreier. He attended local schools and was a WWII Army veteran having served at Utah Beach. He was honorably discharged and was married to Patricia (nee Johnson). Together they raised two children and were married 54 years. Bob worked for the US Postal Service retiring after over 28 years. He was very outgoing and was well loved. Bob will be sadly missed. "We'll miss you. Love ya, Love ya, Love ya."

I will miss Bob. He was one of "the good guys". His last words were "I am ready to enter the kingdom of heaven." Until we meet again, thank you for being such a source of encouragement and wisdom. I was privileged to minister to you.

Thanks for your comments and memories. Papa was my hero and a true and genuine person. I am lucky that he was MY papa and so lucky to have known him. I have tons of memories that will last forever. He still lives through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I will miss him immeasurably. Love you, love you, love you Papa!!!

Bob Schreier was my neighbor while growing up in Germantown, WI. I have many fond memories of him. He will be missed and was loved by all who came into contact with him. He was the Man with the twinkle in his eye.

I was in the same small engine class as Bob at Brown deer high school .We became friends.We worked togather on our meny projects
Bob ,Ken myself and almost the whole class would meet at the family table on Brown Deer Rd.He loved his family and the country he so proudly served.
