To Bob Seitz's sons,
My name is David Burke and I grew up in the house north of your Dad. Two distinct memories I have.
The first one was when he took my classmate, Eric Hewitt hunting once we were old enough. He told us that we could call him "Bob", and that we did not have to call him "Mr. Seitz". I responded with, "OK, Mr. Seitz". I was just so used to calling him "Mr. Seitz" that I could not call him "Bob".
The second memory is just how much he loved hearing about what was happening in my life, and whether everthing was going well. He especially wanted to know if I had any hunting or fishing stories. By the way, I did harvest my first deer, duck and rabbit on his property, and my first pheasant was with him and two of you guys.
I am going to miss him,
Chris "duke" Smith

To the Seitz Family,
Our hearts go out to you and our prayers are with you. Bob was a great guy and I loved going over to his house and chatting with him in his office. He had the best stories and made me laugh every time. His words of wisdom will always remain with me.

To Bob Seitz's Sons,
We have lived next to Bob for the past 27 years. We have heard most of his stories at least three or four times and loved them every time. He was a mentor to our two boys, Tom and Dave, teaching them to hunt and fish and to appreciate the great outdoors. He would take some of our rasberries and then tell us that they were calling his name. Bob was such a kind and gentle man. We were very fortunate to have him for a neighbor all these years and will truely miss his smile and gratiousness. We hope you boys always remember the good things your Dad did for you and for the many people with whom he was associated. May Bob now rest in peace.

Every year at the Tosa 4th of July parade Bob & my husband would sit on Muriel's porch and "talk" old WWII stories. Bob was such a good story teller. We were gifted with his friendship and will miss him.

My deepest sympathy goes to Bob's family. I was so sorry to hear what happened. Please know there is a reason for everything that happens and even though we may not understand it at the time, someday we will. God has a plan and purpose for all of us and when we meet Him face to face, all of our mysteries will be revealed. May God comfort all of you in your time of sorrow. I grew up across the street from Bob and all the boys. I know they remember the Bray kids. Bob was not only a great friend but he was a super neighbor to my mom Bessie Bray for so many years and for that I am eternally thankful. Remember the good times with your dad - I know there are many. And I salute him for serving our country.
With my prayers
Patti Simmons (Patti Bray)
