Robert Michael Theis

Theis, Robert Michael Age 77, Phillips, died in the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff on Monday, October 19, 2015. He was born on July 24, 1938, in Milwaukee, the son of Clifford and Irene (Wojcik) Theis. He was a 1956 graduate of the South Division High School in Milwaukee. He was married to Clara "Claire" Wagner in Milwaukee on October 29, 1960. He served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserves. He founded and operated IAP in Phillips. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and of the AMCA, and was a past member of the Tichigan, WI, Lions Club and of the Masonic Lodge. In his free time he enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, hunting, and spending time at his hunting shack. He is survived by his wife, Claire; by three daughters, Laura (Scott) Woldt, Phillips, Kristine Theis, Phillips, and Michael (Bernadette), Woodbury, MN; by six grandchildren, Terry Woldt, Nichole Hertlein, Tyler (Kendal) Patrie, Amanda Patrie, Tanner Theis and Parker Theis; by 3 great-grandchildren, Mary and Mya Hertlein and Dakota Patrie; and by one sister, Suzanne Theis, Port Washington, WI. His parents precede him in death. A private family service will be held at a later date.
