It is with great sadness that I write this note to all of you, I have know Sandy for many years, my heart and love go to you all.

Dearest Wilch family, Bob was a wonderful Pastor, leader, and friend. He helped my wife Jane, during a time of grief and was always there for the Pastor's of our Synod. He was blessed to be a blessing to many.

Bishop Wilch was in office at the time of my ordination and helped shepherd me through the whole seminary process at LSTC. That was over 25 years ago, but his wise counsel to me on many occasions has stood me in good stead. I've been in Illinois for my entire career and, when I would see him at some churchwide event, he would always ask what it would take to get me back to Wisconsin. I always felt wanted.
Sandy, my sympathy goes out to you and the family. You are in my prayers.

Dearest Wilch Family,
I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing and want to send you my sincerest prayers and thoughts during this sad time. I hope that as time passe the kind thoughts and prayers of your friends and family during this time bring you some comfort.
During the years of growing up in the Falls Pastor Wilch was a strong and thoughtful influence and I will remember him always. To Mary: Mary, I have been trying to find you for years and as the time passes, please contact me to get back in touch, you are my dearest friend and I miss you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We have very happy memories of our friendship with Bob. He opened up a whole new world to us. I will never forget the two amazing trips to Asia that we took with Sandy and Bob. We never would have taken a trip like that if it weren't for Bob, even if we didn't know where Singapore was. Dear Sandy, We are so sorry to learn of your loss, and want to send our love and sympathy to you and your family.
In memory of Bob and appreciation for all you have done for the NUMSA group, we want to put a placque at the Nimitz Museum in Fredricksburg to honor you both for hosting the fantastic get togethers over the years.
