Robin Seekins Obituary

Seekins, Robin B. (Nee Smith) Found her peace on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, age 60. Beloved wife of Steven Seekins for 42 years. Loving mother of Andrea (Paul) Drapeau and Leyla Seekins, as well as to Rugby and Squirt. Survived by her father Wayne and brothers Guy (Vicki) and Perry Smith. Further survived by sisters-in-law Sharon (Terry) Fulton and Lorene (Glen) Dalsant as well as by Aunts Eileen Smith, Vera Smith and Elanore Koscinski. Dear friend to Elsie, Niff and Angie. Further loved by many close relatives, friends and MB20 pals. Entombment at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI 53005 on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at 1:45 PM. Please meet in the Green Area of the main entrance. Gathering in the Chapel of the Flowers 2-4 PM followed by a Celebration of Robin's Life service at 4 PM. Robin's gifts as an artist were outstanding. Beginning in childhood, she explored and mastered many mediums including drawing, painting, stained glass and jewelry. Her enthusiasm and generosity of spirit extended beyond her family and unto every person and animal that she met. Happy to help others, she was a long-time volunteer at Linden Grove. Her happiest moments included spending time with family and friends, walking her dog, working on her art as well as attending live concerts with her husband, Steve. Robin truly had a heart of gold and while she is already being missed by all who knew her, she will never be forgotten. A very special Thank You to all who cared for her at Community Memorial Hospital and VNA Home Hospice for helping Robin find peace at home.

Dear Steve, Andrea, Leyla and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Robin's passing today. I always treasured Robin's warmth, kindness and beautiful smile. How delighted I am to know that we shall see her again in Heaven one day! You have many wonderful memories to cherish! May God bless and comfort you during this difficult time...you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened to hear of Robin's passing. She was a true friend. I didn't know her really well, but we spent time together at concerts and she and I talked a lot online. She was always there with an ear and always generous with everyone. She will be missed tremendously. I send my condolences to her family and friends. The MB20 community will never be the same. RIP sweet Robin.

I loved Rob's twiiter. she was a bright light... true that. I only talk to her on the Matchbox GD boards, but we exchange gifts over the years. I have a room full!!!
