Roger Brook Obituary

November 6, 1924- December 27, 2020, Roger Brook has found calmer seas and fairer winds after 96 years of living life to its fullest. Longtime Pewaukee resident, scow sailor, storyteller, family patriarch, GE engineer, lover of red wine and anything chocolate, WWII submarine vet, and occasional curmudgeon, Roger made a lasting impression on so many people over the years.

Roger is preceded in death by his wife Helen "Bobbie" Brook, daughter Lora Peterson, and son-in-law Norman "Butch" Peterson, while leaving behind a large family, including daughters Janice (Dennis) Roscetti and Nancy (John) Wolck. He will be remembered by six loving grandchildren and their spouses, as well as 10 great-grandchildren with two more he won't get to meet, but will certainly hold great influence over.

A private gathering for family is being held this week, with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pewaukee Area Historical Society or the Pewaukee Yacht Club, where Roger has been an active member for more than 55 years.
