Roland Steinle Obituary

Found peace on Thursday, December 2, 2004, age 79. Survived by his seven children, Patricia Lyons (Robert), Roland J., III, W. Timothy (Lynn),

Elizabeth Allen (Gene), Michael

(Sarah), Maggie O'Leary (Timothy), Anne Paparello (Scott), 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also survived by his sister, Elizabeth La Bissoniere

(David), his brother-in-law, Joseph McCarthy, and sister-in-law,

Elizabeth Bradburn (Charles). Preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Priscilla (nee Gehl), wife, Dorothy (nee Meyer), son, Thomas and sister Rosemary McCarthy.

"Rollie" was a graduate of Marquette University High School, Notre Dame and Marquette University Law School. He practiced law in the greater Milwaukee area for over 50 years. In addition to practicing law, he taught ethics at Marquette University Dental School and Marquette University Nursing School. He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving on the Battleship U.S.S. Wisconsin during World War II.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John's Cathedral, 802 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee, on Friday, December 10, 2004 at 5:15 p.m. Reception immediately following at Milwaukee Athletic Club, 758 North Broadway, Milwaukee.

Although Rollie had a passion for gardening, in lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of Roland J. Steinle, Jr. to Marquette University High School would be appreciated.

"May eternal rest grant unto him,

O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him."
