Ronald Orndorff Obituary

Orndorff, Ronald Dean " Big O" Of Mequon, WI, died unexpectedly, on November 26, 2015, at the age of 80. Ron was born on August 27, 1935 in New London, IA to his parents, Mark and Marie Orndorff. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lois June Orndorff (Hultquist) and their four children Dianne Dimond (Brad), Susan Gordon (Andrew), David and Scott (Trish), eight grandchildren Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew, Allison, Hannah, Samuel, Abigail and Alex and Ron's sisters Shirley Lange and Donna. Ron graduated from Beloit College in 1957 with a degree in economics. He later married his college sweetheart, Lois Hultquist . After moving from Elmhurst, IL to Mequon, WI, Ron worked for and became President of M&I First National Leasing of Milwaukee, where he worked for 30 years. Ron was a devoted husband, father and dedicated member of the church. Ron was an exceptionally positive man, who always had a life's lesson to teach or a story to tell. He made tremendous efforts to stay in contact with and visit his family, relatives and friends. Ron loved to drive, golf and spend time with his grandchildren who he was so proud of. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their cottage in Michigan. There was never too much time that would pass before the next cribbage game would be played. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ron's life is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015, Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 6031 W. Chapel Hill Rd. (corner of Green Bay Rd. & Highland Rd.), Mequon, WI. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Beloit College or the Blue Coat Foundation, Inc.

Nancy and I are deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I was a member of the First National Leasing marketing staff from 1987-1992. Ron made it very easy to be a member of his team and he went out of his way to make me feel at home. A great boss, a great friend. Our condolences to Lois and the Orndorff family.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Orndorff family. Chuck had the pleasure of working with Ron for several years and also enjoyed the many activities with the grandchildren we shared, Sam and Alex. May he rest in Peace.
