We first knew him as "Uncle Junior". That changed when he got married. He was always a big part of our lives. When he came home on leave from the Navy, we were eager for the gifts he brought us, like the toy cars from Italy that Sandy and I still have. We admired his accordion playing and wished we could do it too. Every holiday, every camping trip, every big occasion, Uncle Ronnie and his family were there with us. He was always gentle and good-natured. He was patient with us and taught us things. I don't think I ever heard a harsh word from him directed at us. Uncle Ronnie was like a big brother to Sandy, Lynette and me. I'll miss him terribly. This picture of Uncle Ronnie and Sandy was taken at Billy's baptism just before Uncle Ronnie went into the Navy.

Miss my dad so much, words can not express. Knowing he is at peace, cradled in the loving arms of our Lord brings comfort and solace. Thanks to all of those who have been so supportive, sharing memories, and offering prayers through this difficult time. I am in awe at the measure of influence he has impressed upon so many. I have to believe he's busy working on stained glass window for a chapel in Heaven.
He always had to keep busy, and now he can again.
