To the family and friends of Rosalind Ross, my heartfelt condolences on this tragic event. She was a remarkable young women who touched many lives and will continue to live on through our memories.
I know there will be times over the next several months that will be worse than others; just remember when it seems too overwhelming that Rosalind would want you to be happy and celebrate her life. I wish you peace. Coleen Woody Norman, OK.

It has been years since I've seen and known Rosalind during my time as the Girl's basketball manager at Tech. She had a smile that lit up the room. I am honored to have known her for the time that I did. Take comfort in knowing that your family now has an angel watching over you. She will be dearly missed.

Roz was a classmate & a friend to many of us that represent Milwaukee Tech H.S. Class of 1998. I can only pray that God watches over her & may he continue to help her family during this trouble time. I had the pleasure of seeing Roz during an eventful time last year during our 10yr(11yr) Class Reunion. Once again she filled the room with that great smile of hers and just down to earth personality. She made sure to tell us that she was proud to see all of us were doing bigger, better, and productive things in life. And we were all proud of her being so successful in her basketball career. We joked about me taking the pictures of her at prom & how we finally saw her in a dress. Laughter & Joy was in the air that day and that is what I will take with me for my memory of her. Your an Angel that will truly be missed. #54 R.I.P Rosalind C. Ross.

I can recall a young lady full of joy, always smiling as she walked the halls of Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School. Roz's laughter was pure. Her love for her friends is something that did not take any effort. I can recall one of my last times seeing her. It was a few years back during an open gym Mr. Williams had. Many who did not have the honor of being a product of 319 W. Virginia street wondered why the Milwaukee King Coach, at the time (Doc) was there playing basketball and why Roz was there. I had to answer the question with this answer: "because they are and always will be family!" There is something special that I don't believe anyone can put their hands on about that school and the tradition it inspires. Roz is and always will be a part of the Milwaukee Tech legacy. Not just for her athletic ability, but because of her ability to spend four productive academic years there! Forever a Trojan, RIP Roz!

I was so sadden to hear about Ross passing. I grew up with her playing in many basketball leagues and tournaments together. I recently saw her almost a year ago on the capacity of me teaching a dance class about "stop the violence." I can't believe she died at the hand of a gun. We picked up where we left off and was so excited to see each other again!! She was a great spirit, great personality and full of life. She will be truly missed! RIP Ross

The Blathers family loves you and are willing to help you in any way we can. We will all miss Roz, she had a million dollar smile and personality to go with that smile. My heart goes out to the family of "Roz." I did not know her personally but she has a smile I would never forget. My cousin Sabrina played ball with Roz at Tech and in many other leagues. I attended many of their games and her presence seems so fresh in my memory. A tragic loss at such a young age for a person with great talent. May you all find peace in knowing there is no longer suffering for her. Take things day by day during your time of grief and remember God is always right where you need him.
