I knew Russ for more than 20 years. What began as a prank call to his number turned into a friendship that lasted for decades.
Russ and I would talk about his beloved Packers, his time in the service, and his family.
Russ was a patriot, a football fan, and father. I know he was slowing down, especially over the past 3 years.
I am saddened to hear of his passing.
