Ruth Shier Obituary

Shier, Ruth B. (Nee Brekke) Went Home on Thursday, May 18, 2017, after 98 years of joyful life. Beloved wife of the late George, Sr. Loving mother of George Shier, Jr. and Lynnette (the late Mark) Chovanec. Dear grandmother of Justin Chovanec and Mason Shier (fianceé Brittney Zorn). Proud great-grandmother of Jorden Chovanec. Also remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruth enjoyed all the years with her family in Wisconsin and the years in Spring Hill, Florida where she was Historian for the Garden Club. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 12 PM. Interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
