Ryley Homolka Obituary
Visitation at the Funeral Home Mon., Feb. 27, 4-8 PM. Funeral Service 8:15 PM. Private burial St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Ryley was a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. He worked at Barnes & Noble at Brookfield Square.
He loved his many friends.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Homolka:
My son Andrew was a school friend of Ryley's for years. I always looked specifically for his picture in the yearbooks because I thought he was so nice-looking and he was Andy's good friend. I say a daily prayer for Ryley (and your family) every time I think of him. God Bless You during this difficut time.

What a guy Ryley was. He is now safe with the Lord, and his soul is at peace. More than anything, I will remember his great smile, that was always full of kindness. My deepest sympathies. He will be missed.

I met Ryley here at LAX, and I knew the moment that I met him, that this boy was going to be one of my lifelong friends. I could talk to Ry about anything and evertying, and sometimes that is all we did for hours. He was always the first person to try something new, or to get the group together. I only knew him six months, but he touched my life, and I can and will never forget him. He was one of those people that you could met once and remember for the rest of your life. I will treasure the memories that I have with him, and I wait for the day I will see him again, wait for the day that I will recieve one of his looks.
My sympathy for your loss, for all of our loss, and for all of those who never got to meet this sweet sweet boy.

Mr. and Mrs. Homolka, Evan, and Kassee:
Ryley was my best friend throughout the years I lived in Wisconsin. A swirl of wonderful memories of him are circulating through my head right now. Everything from playing hours of bumper pool and playstation at your house, to the week he got to come to South Carolina with me, to watching Mr. Homolka play Ryley in Ping Pong using a book instead of a paddle, and many many so very many more memories. I cannot express enough the sorrow I feel in my heart for all of you. I want to thank you guys for all the times that I got to spend with Ryley and for all the memories I have shared with him. He will always be forever my friend and he, as well as you, will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ryley was my brother Andrew's roommate at the university of LaCrosse although we hadn't known him long he still touched our family's lives. He was the best roommate Andrew could have asked for and a great friend. I am sorry for your loss your family will be in our prayers. Rest in Peace Ryley

I cannot express how sorrowful I am for your loss. I attended middle and high school with Ryle. I knew him better in middle school than in high school through mutual friends. I recall Ryley's fun loving easy going personality, especially towards the end of our senior year at Brookfield Central. We spent our third period in the same room, and he was always laughing and goofing around. I am very sorry, and you are in my thoughts.

I am at a loss for words. I coached Riley for severals years with the Elm Grove Soccer Club. He was a very special and gifted player. He worked hard, had passion for the game, and was an absolute joy to coach. I feel priviledged to have coached him and his memory will live on with me. My heart felt regrets go out to all of you.

Our family was devasted to hear of Ryley's passing. He was a great person to run into, I always enjoyed talking and laughing with him. His friendly, smiling face was always a pleasant surprise at the mall, soccer field, or other chance encounters.
