Lucille, Barry and Linda,
I am sorry to learn of Sam's death; he always had a great smile and demeanor! I remember him well at the color analysis as well as skin care parties Lucille had! Lucille, I always thought it was so awesome that he called you the Duchess.
Barry, my best to you and your family. I was a service rep. for you in Indy and you gave me the opportunity in a short time to be promoted to service observer.
I now work for IU Health.
Would love to hear how everyone is doing and sending warm thoughts and prayers as your family embraces Sam's zest for life and the wonderful legacy he has left.
Blessings to all,
Jackie (Merrell) Finney

Dear Lucille, I'm so sad you've lost Sam. He was our favorite Jester at parties and a cruise we took with you. Even though his watchword was I am standing up!!! he stood head and shoulders above us all. I loved the way he called you Duchess nobility of the highest order. I hope you got to take those tap dancing lessons while you were in Sun City. We all envied you when you moved down there.
I've sent an eMail to Becker Ritter asking them to please eMail me your current address. You'll receive a letter from me shortly after receiving it. My deepest sympathy at your loss. He was the best!

Lucille and Barry, It is with great sadness learning of Sam's passing. He was a great friend of my parents, Harley and Martha Lou Haskett and also for me. One of my fondest memories of Sam was when I was a college student and Sam visited the city I was in, he took me and two of my football playing friends to dinner and then we proceeded to travel to Nashville, TN and visit Printer's Alley for the evening. Sam being short in stature was a sight to behold as one of my friends was 6'5" and 310 pounds. As we walked into the various establishments Sam asked "Big John" to lead the way.
A great memory of a great man.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just wanted to let you know that we are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. The scripture at Ezekiel 18:32 tells about how God really feels about death.

Dear Aunt Lucille and All,
My thoughts are very much with you during this time of loss and change. Uncle Sam has always been and will always be my Great Uncle Sam. His stories, and jokes, and opinions, and can-do attitude are a part of what for me is my family legacy. He'll live on in my heart. Much love to you. Amy Allen
