What a dear, special person Sarah was! I met her many years ago on a try we took for LASPAU and have never forgotten what fun it was to work with her. I am so sorry to learn-- only now --of her death. Condolences to her family and friends.

I am so very sorry to just recently hear of Sarah's passing. We were friends in high school when her strength of character and compassion for others was already strong. Her sense of humor and her humble attitude are attributes that always come to mind when I think of her.

Her education and professions demonstrate a life long desire to help others. What a wonderful gift she was.

My sympathy to her family and loved ones.

Dear Jean, I am so sorry to learn of Sarah's passing. My brother Scott and I were Monroe St neighbors and playmates of Sarah and Emmitt. I have many happy memories of the big house and Polier St. and Uncle John and birthday parties and bee stings and german measles and collie dogs. Peace and love to all of you.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sarah was a compassionate and caring person and fought for the rights of many. Aurora would have not been the same without her!
She loved her family! One of you nephews must be in your late teen or 20's. I would always share Jimmy stories, that way she knew what she would be in for! I will miss our chats in the halls. Your Sarah had the strength and willpower of 10,000 women, love to you all, Patti Bowen

Although I have not seen Sarah since high school her spirit would often pop up into my thoughts, always wondering how she was doing, always remembering how great a gal she was. I have recently completed my chemo and radiation at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and know they are a fantastic group of people & professionals. I guess she's always been an inspiration to me - then and now. Sweet Sarah.
