Scott Bronner Obituary

Bronner, Scott W. Ran into the loving arms of his Savior on Saturday, August 17, after a 20 year battle with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. He is survived by his loving wife, Taeko, and three amazing sons, Yujin, Joji, and Nowa. Wonderfully kind and deeply caring, Scott had a passion to share the love of Jesus with everyone he met, especially with internationals. He and Taeko have graciously hosted a Friday International Gathering, (FIG), and he taught English as a second language at Harrisburg Area Community College in Pennsylvania for the past five years. Gentle and giving, Scott was a remarkable Renaissance man. We could fill these columns espousing Scott's volunteer activities, advanced degrees at Carnegie Mellon and UW-Milwaukee, creative teaching abilities in Japan and Lancaster, oboe playing, unique sense of fashion, missionary work in China, etc. But Scott would just want you to know one thing: like all of us, he was a sinner who is fully restored and redeemed only because of the death and resurrection of Jesus. The family prays that you all find the peace of Christ within your hearts, too. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Eastbrook Church (5385 N Green Bay Ave, Milwaukee) with a dessert reception to follow. A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:00PM preceding the service. Taeko continues to carry on their dynamic mission work in Lancaster,PA,where30-50 internationals gather at their home weekly. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations in Scott's memory to Commission to Every Nation www.cten.org/scottbronner/.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Scott. I worked with Scott in the Metallurgical Dept at Ladish in the late 1980's and recall him well. I remember Scott sharing pictures from one of his humanitarian trips with us & it was clear to all that got to know him that he was destined to be something other than a Metallurgical Engineer. Scott had a rare compassion for his fellow man & while I only worked with him for a short time he left a lasting impression.

Our sincere condolences,
Jerry Ramos & family
