Hey Barb.....thanks for keeping me in the loop .....I hope you are doing good, feeling fine...I think Scott was needed some other, some other time. While his human body is gone the most important thing is his spirit is here.Close to the ones he loved,i don't think about much but wen reminded of him, there are a few tears that well up.Mostly, the pain of missing him and what he was and who he was. I hope that your feelings for Scott are lless painful and more joyful as time goes by. I struggle to hear his voice But I know I"ll never forget his smile. I know it is a long way from Oct. till today I found this email today All that is running thru my head now is Scotty and his runnin' buddy Dickie Martin going at it like brothers do......LOVE,PEACE and HAPPINESS to you!! Scott befriended me during my first week as a freshman at Marquette High. He was always a guy you could count on to pick you up and support you when you were struggling. A class-act all the way and the embodiment of what being a Christian and a Marquette Man were all about. I am so proud to have had him as a friend. You are all in my prayers.

I have so many great memories of the days at MUHS. A lot of them were the fun and antics of young men testing the limits of their strength, wit and intelligence against and with one another. Scott was a fine man and a great comic. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. RIP Scooter.

All of us at the UPS Store will miss Scott's jolly "Hi Honey, I'm home" when he would finally show up after a long road trip. He always had a smile and hug for everyone and will be missed greatly. To the ultimate Packer fan, we love you and will miss you.

Scott was one of my late husband's best friends and his Best Man. We wouldn't see Scott for years and then when he showed up at home, it was if no time had passed at all. When my husband died 7 years ago, he came in for the funeral, and I never heard from him from that day on. I guess now that will always be a mystery for me. I missed him so very much. I am surprised to hear he got married, but I am glad he found love. His death hurts very deeply. But, I am trying to picture the two of them back together again, and it brings a small smile to my heart, they were like brothers at one time, and incredibly funny the two of them. My condolences to the family, this is terribly sad news. Barbara, I suppose we'll never meet, but, I do know what you are going through, and I wish for you courage and good friends to help you through the pain.

Mike,
Very sorry to hear about your loss. Over the last 25 years, I would run into Scott at many PGA Tour events I attended with my son. He always found time to visit and give some memorbilia from his player to my son. A great guy and I enjoyed following his career. Any plans for a memorial in WI?

Randy, Sue, and Mike,

I was so very sorry to hear about Scotty's death. We're a long ways removed from the football and basketball games on Helene Drive and Harvest Lane, but I'll treasure the fond memories of those times forever, as I will the time I spent with Scott at MUHS, at UWM, and driving for the Journal. I will remember his kind and generous spirit and love of life forever. We have lost one of the great ones, and I offer my deepest sympathy.

I just heard tonight 10/26 that my "caddy brother" scott had left us.Scott was one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He really care about people.I left the Tour in '05 my Moms' passing was a part of it.Scotty would call almost monthly to bust my chops about the NY Jets or the "Convicts" from UCONN! When i would hint about coming back out on Tour Scott would tell me"Don't You Dare!!" The Tour had changed and it wasn't really all that much fun anymore. Thank You,Scott for that! I will cherish the memories of every talk and every meal we had together! I'll miss miss him dearly,as will all who had the privelege of knowing him. To all his friends and family:Peace and Prayers to you. Scotty, say hello to Jerry for me and my Mom! If you knew him you'll know this:He's Gone...Nothin left to do but Smile,Smile,Smile!! I'll leave this the way we always ended any conversation we ever had: I love you,Brother!....and I always will! RIP

Scott was a great guy. My husband loved looking over the wall to see Scott and Barb in their backyard relaxing and enjoying the bark of Sexy Dexie and Winston the Badger Killer. I will cherish those memories forever. RIP my fried.

Scott brought great joy into the hearts of my sister-in-law Susan, my brother David, and my nieces and nephew Jessica, Samantha, and Ben. I enjoyed every contact with him over the last 30 years at family celebrations and whenever a tournament passed through the Bay Area. He is forever loved and missed.

Cheevers. Ex-roomie; tremendous human being. Spoke for quite awhile after his mom passed this spring, and he was well and at peace. Scotty touched so many lives in very positive ways. He was perceptive, empathetic, yet really silly. RIP, buddy.
