Still 30 days later, I almost cant bare the thought of you not being here. I am waiting for you to just call me or show up, or something. You were my everything. And no matter the million fights we have been in...we never hung up the phone without saying I love you. I love you so much. What an amazing Daddy you were...and Uncle to mine. We all miss you so much.

Scott, you are a beautiful person. You were my best friend when we went off to college, and the year we lived together is still one of my fondest memories. Whenever I want to laugh, I think about all of the times we laughed until it hurt.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a great guy...always made me laugh when we were in law school together. Scott used to tease me about my Southern accent and I teased him about his Wisconsin accent (neither of us ever would admit that we even had one!) May his family find some measure of peace in their warm memories of him.

I was so saddened to learn of Scott's passing. I played baseball against Scott in the Milwaukee Men's Senior Baseball League - he was an intesne, fair and great competitor as well as an outstanding advocate for all the players in our league.

I was shocked and so saddened to hear the news of Scott's passing. My deepest condolences to the whole family. Scott always had such kind words and a smile and I remember how proud his Dad Tony was of him becoming a lawyer and how overjoyed Tony was when grandchildren arrived. My deepest condolences to the family. I knew Scott from late night gym workouts at LeClub/Elite, and often we'd be the last ones to leave the gym. I also recall his going Halloween trick or treating with his kids around the neighborhood in Whitefish Bay. I am stunned and saddened.

My 8 year old son Colin and I only recently met Scott. Colin had the opportunity to be the Bat Boy for the Dukes - one is which he takes very seriously! Colin quickly took to Scott and was stuck by his intensity and passion for the game. His humor was contagious and Colin took to teasing Scott right back. Although we have never met Scott's family, please accept our heartfelt prayers.

My sympathies to Nicole and the Wells family. Scott and I played soccer together (and his dad coached us) as teens. He had already developed his mischievious sense of humor by then and the jokes were relentless during or trips back from the games. He made fun of things I thought were totally off limits at the time and he had me rolling the entire trip. He had his own style of humor. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We are daily reminded of Scott's expertise as we watch our 6 year old grandson, Alex, attend school, ride a bike, swing and practice his social skills. Scott helped this family win a very difficult custody battle to keep our autistic grandson here in WI with his father, Jeff, a high school friend. Scott calmed us, assured us, and rallied for us. He was infectious, gracious and always ever so charming. He could never turn down a banana! We are forever grateful. We will pray for his family during these next few days as a mother prepares to bury a worthy son, a wife her loving husband, his beautiful children, their adoring father and his siblings, their brother. I've been the "adopted child" to the Well's family since i was 5 and have taken the role as an older sister to Brenna, Luke and Aubrey. Scott was a father figure to me. He always gave me advice even if i didn't want to hear it, he always made a point too. He had a way of telling you things in a fatherly way and friend way which made him easy to talk to! Crazy to think you're gone but I'll be there for your children and keep your spirit alive for them! Thanks for the laughs, the chats, the hugs and, the memories!

Scott was a great person and always flashed a quick smile and pat on the back. But he also was a great coach of children. I never saw him get angry at them, and he always seemed to know how to get the most out of his young players. I am forever grateful at the baseball skills and love of the game he instilled in my son, who was devastated to learn his former coach had passed. See you in court soon Counselor.
