Well, it looks like you went back on our deal. You, Natalie and I were supposed to leave this world together, holding hands when we were old and gray. I see you beat us to paradise. Shaun, you will be greatly missed, there is now a giant hole in my heart. Your life was cut short, but it wasn't for lack of living it, whenever I was around you there was never a dull moment and you always made me laugh, even when I didn't feel like smiling. My poor husband has had to endure seven years of Shaun stories, from both Carly and me. You were always there for me, no matter what was going on in my or your life, I wish I hadn't taken that for granted, I was busy and I planned on calling, but it always ended up with…tomorrow, and I greatly regret that. I hope the angels were ready for you, they have their hands full now. I'm glad you are in a place that you can be pain and worry free. I will always love and miss you, Shaun I wish I would have known sooner, or been there for you more like you were for me. We will never forget you, and we are praying for your family, who I am sure have the same empty sick feeling. Whatever God wants you for, I know it will be great. I love you, and miss you.

Shaun I can see you now walking with Jesus when you see the banquet table you say wow man, hey Jesus where's the BBQ sauce. You juiced up all your food with BBQ. I can see you as Jesus gives you the tour of heaven you hear this most Glorious sound. You say Lord what is that noise and he says, it's the angels singing around the great throne room 24/7 and you say How cool is that come on Jesus I want to join in and off you went. Or meeting Mose, Abraham, Matthew, Job, Isaiah or Peter and saying wow Lord this is awesome. What I wouldn't do to have your strong arms around me again and to hear you whisper in my ear I love you Mom. I only have one request of you up in heaven...Tell Jesus to Heal your Momma..... Love you more than all the stars in the sky!

How exciting to be walking with Jesus right now! I was always proud to be called dad by you. I enjoyed being your confidant, friend, shoulder to cry on and mentor. I will always watch over the family you loved and wanted so much to have. Jennifer and Emma have always and will always be considered my daughter and grand-daughter. I miss you "son". I look forward to the day we meet again.

Shaun, I wasnt going to write anything, but thought as long as weve been friends, it would have been the wrong thing to do. Even though you and I had our falling out, you were still part of my life. Ill always remember the times we had.. meeting you for the first time.. that was a good night!! The fires in the back yard... the camping trips you me Doni and Brian would take.. those were some great times huh!?!! Lol the stupid stuff we used to do.. the great times we had.. the painting of 'THE BEAST' :) the long serious talks the deep thoughts, the petty little arguments... the name calling the bickering.. just as we were brother and sister. Even the flowers you bought me on my birthday one year... just because I told you no ones ever done that.You left way to early dude! And Ill admit it.. Im gonna miss ya!! Dont get into too much trouble! And tell Dave I say hi!! Love ya!!

Just want to send my condolences to the Newton family. Shaun was a pleasure to work with. Couldn't ask for a better employee. Sure had some good times that won't be forgotten. Sorry that I won't be able to attend the service. Joe Vicena also sends his condolences. Take care.

To my little brother- you will forever leave a void in my heart! I'm consumed with sadness that you have left us far too soon. I promise to never forget you. I further promise to keep your memory alive for your son Thomas Newton. I will share all the joy I had in being your sister. Through the good times and bad. I remember kicking a neighborhood boy's butt for messing with you! (that was my job alone!) And I further remember you throwing a broom at me and knocking all of mom's stuff of the wall! LOL Remember how she came home and said if we wanted to kill each other we could and she would bury us when she got home? She walked out of the house and I remember you and I laughing. It wasn't funny to her at the time but when she was mad she would say the darndest things. LOL. Through it all we loved each other so much.
I remember so many Christmases when you were the last to leave my house. Just as excited for what my kids were getting the next day as they were. And how we played Wii and acted silly like we were kids again. How you brought us a summer outdoor game for Christmas one year and insisted we put it up and play in the living room! And we did and it was great fun! I will always cherish the times that we had together. I just wish we had more time to make so many more memories. I love you so much.
