Steve and I shared countless laughs over several summers at Phantom Lake. He had opinions on many subjects, be it Brewers baseball, politics, where to find the best burger in central Wisconsin, or the merits popular music being played on the radio at the lifeguard stand. a fine guy and a good friend. I have some confidence his spirit lives on in many ways.

Blessings to Steve's children and his brothers. I was a good friend of Steve at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp back in the 1970s and loved him very much. I was also fortunate to re-connect with him more recently, and appreciated the opportunity to get re-acquainted. We will miss him profoundly.
