He was my friend. Just found out. I will miss our conversations about my liking of the Mets and jets to his liking of the Yankees and the Giants, great yet heated conversations. They will be missed.

I knew Steve in Louisville - he was a diligent Father, talented horticulturist, a kind friend, and a sweet love. I was shocked and saddened to read of his death today. I have many fond memories of our times together. I am not surprised that he continued to have a positive impact on others in his journeys after Louisville. Hugs, prayers, and warm thoughts to his family and friends.

Jake, I loved running into your Dad out and about in Whitefish Bay. He would always call me "kiddo", and had a genuine interest in how we were doing. He was a good man, and he raised an amazing son. Our hearts are heavy for you - please know you always have the Weil's love and support!
