Kupferman, Steven October 12, 2013, age 56 years, of Glendale. Beloved father of Jacob Kupferman. Dear brother of Jack and Arthur (April) Kupferman and their daughters, Cara and Julia. Loving son of Irwin Kupferman. Further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Kupferman, and his former wife, Laurie Altman Kupferman. Steve, a graduate of the University of Georgia, was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan. He relished the opportunity to work with young people in sports, and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to connect with people. He was hard working, loving, and incredibly passionate. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and the entire community. Memorial services 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point. Shivah service will occur immediately after the memorial service at the Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Whitefish Bay. Burial will be in New York. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial gifts to the Steve Kupferman Fund, in care of the Jewish Community Center at the above address.

I knew Steve in Louisville - he was a diligent Father, talented horticulturist, a kind friend, and a sweet love. I was shocked and saddened to read of his death today. I have many fond memories of our times together. I am not surprised that he continued to have a positive impact on others in his journeys after Louisville. Hugs, prayers, and warm thoughts to his family and friends.

Jacob, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but our family has known your Dad since the two of you came to Milwaukee. Steve was all you said in his obituary. He was wasrm gracious and kind. I am so sorry for this tremendous loss. He will be missed by all the hundreds of people whose lives he touched while he was with us on this earth.
