Theodore Eichner Obituary

Theodore Francis (Ted) Eichner

Ted passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53. Born on May 4, 1967 to Tom and Sylvia (O'Malley) Eichner in Wauwatosa, WI., Ted was raised in a loving and bustling household alongside his 9 siblings. After graduating from Wauwatosa East High School, Ted went on to enjoy jobs that put to use his skills to repair things from machines used in Milwaukee's Deep Tunnel Project to stained glass. He will be remembered for his charming smile, ingenuity, and storytelling talents. His family is comforted in knowing that Ted will rest in peace alongside his parents and brother Tommy who preceded him in death. Teddy will be remembered by his siblings Tim (Kathy), Sylvia (Donald) McDonald, Anne (John) Dellemann, John (Colette), Dan (Mary), Joe (Heidi), Charlie (Heidi), and Clare (Brad) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. His family will lay him to rest in a private service. "Until we meet again, may God hold Ted in the palm of his hand."

I'm truly sorry to hear of Ted's passing , I was his boss at deep tunnel. The last time I saw him was after he had the aneurism. He had recovered well and had tried to get in touch with him over the year's, to no avail .
Ted truly was my right hand man. that guy would be put to task , and no matter what.
It would be done with ease. He was a true friend and I miss him terribly.
I guess the good lord wanted him to repair his wildcats.

One of the most unique kids I'll ever meet. He could fix anything...w/ any tools. He always had working hands w/ no nails. Always running (like all Eichner kids.) He had the best record collection and sound system in town, but yet played no instruments. Fast cars? Forget about it. He loved Buicks and left more rubber stains in Tosa than the city ever wanted to clean up. He loved dogs and nature. The last meal I had with him was...2006? He was living in West Allis by St. Fair Park. He made me and my brother Scott, Cornish Hens. He had cooking skills. He was stubborn. It was hard getting in touch with him post 2010. He never wanted to travel..leave his home or dogs. But, he'd always take the time to talk with me. I know he had his personal struggles, but we all have our own as well. I trust he has found his peace. RIP my neighborhood friend. Jimi Hendrix.

I’m so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. Ted was a great guy and would do anything for a friend. He went through and overcame a lot. I never met someone so mechanically inclined. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he could figure it out. Freddy, go to the office. No no, just go. Parties in the park, old Buick’s, Jimi, Altec Lansing, Mulligan, Jackson, & Harley. 1 hen, 2 ducks, 3 squawking geese. Rest in peace Theodore, Ted, Theo, Thaddeus, Beaver, Bevis, Beav. You will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Ted's passing. My parents & siblings all have fond memories of growing up, playing soccer with Ted. We will remember Ted as the always smiling, talented, engaging, young man that always made us laugh.

Wow! I am so sorry for your loss. Yes and I were good friends but lost our connection after the last few years.
He was a good person and always had me laughing.
Rest In Peace Ted. You will be missed.
