Thomas Aliota Obituary

Aliota, Thomas J. Went to the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 reuniting with his beloved wife Irene, of 68 years at the age of 93. Devoted, supportive and loving father of Sandy (Philip) Anderson, John (Irene), Thomas (Kathleen), Steven and Robert (Susan) Aliota. Proud and loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, his dear brother-in-law Frank Martini, his dear sister-in-law Jan Aliota and dear and special friends. Tom had a special way with people, treating everyone with the same level of respect, regardless of their background over his 35 years in the bar and restaurant business from Aliota's Big Stein to Aliota's Fireside Inn. In addition, Tom proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. Visitation Monday, November 6 at ST. ROBERT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2200 E. Capitol Drive, Shorewood, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Private Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. The Aliota family wishes to thank the staff at the Milwaukee Catholic Home for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name may be directed to the Milwaukee Catholic Home or St. Robert Catholic Church.
