Whitey and I were classmates and sometimes teammates at St Rita and DBHS. We shared some real good times back in the day. He was a true standup guy who also knew how to have fun. Our condolences to his family.

I sat behind Tom in several classes at DB and while I didn't know him well, I always thought he was a true gentleman and a total class act. It sounds like he had a good life. I'm glad.

Carol,
I don't believe we ever met, but I am a Whitnall retiree (1984) and was in line to extend my condolences when it was time for mass to begin today.
First employed at the Hales Corners Elementary School in 1953 and I moved to Whitnall in 1960 and was an administrator from 1962 beginning as assistant high school principal, first middle school principal in 1970 and moved back to the Jefferson and Valley View in 1976. I closed Valley View in the early 80s and while I was in the process of closing Jefferson in 83-84, I was also the Co-principal of the high school.
While our association was limited in my final years, I valued our friendship, as his career began in the district.
All of you will be in my prayers.
