Sad to hear of Tom's passing. I will miss having dinner with you as well as having dinner at your house. Your movie nights were always fun. I always thought of you when Gallery Night came around and will continue to think of you when they come around again. Bless you, your family and all your friends. We will miss you.

I just now heard this sad news and am heart broken. Tommy was a gentle soul and I have many fond memories of growing up with his family nearby. Always friendly, always gracious. Eternal rest grant onto you O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon you. May you rest in peace.

Your cousin,
Sharon Czajkowski

Tom and I were very good friends for many years. We first met in college at UWM. We spent many hours sharing our thoughts on life, experiences with family & friends and sharing our love of art while painting together in his studio in the basement, taking hikes in some of his favorite spots along Lake Michigan & the Seminary woods and hitting the town at some of the cities many restaurants, pubs and art galleries. He was a kind and gentle soul and a loyal friend. Sleep well my friend. Mark Stewart

Tom's sudden passing has left us at the State Office Building in shock and sorrow. Tom could be counted on for his helpfulness and quick responses to inquiries. He was a kind gentleman and leaves an indelible mark-- there are not many who live their entire life without owning a car, who enjoyed such a wide variety of music as he did, who consistently practiced kindness and regarded others respectfully, or enjoyed baking cookies from cherished family recipes.
May God bless and comfort his siblings, family and friends as we bid him farewell. May there be comfort found in God's promise, "Love Is Stronger Than Death."

Tom, you were an absolute pleasure to work with all those years ago at Columbia Hospital, and I am shocked and saddened to hear that you are no longer on this earth. You had such a warm smile and the kindest heart. I so enjoyed your delicious Christmas cookies you faithfully baked every year and shared with us at work. My deepest condolences to your family and may you rest in peace.

It is very nice to hear someone refer to Tom as a "kind and gentle soul." That must be how he lived his life, because forty years ago, in high school, he was indeed a kind and gentle person. Rest In Peace Tom, in a kinder and gentler place.

Tom was a fixture at the State Office Building and his office is eerily quiet now ... it is impossible to pass by his spot without both expecting to see him at his work station and feeling awful when the realization hits that he will be there no more. RIP Tom you were a good man.
