Leah and Eric, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I spent several years working with him during the mid-1980s. We worked on numerous large projects together. I always thought of your Dad as a great guy who was always ready to help. You don't know me, but I wanted you to know that there are lots of people that your Dad helped that will miss him too. I wish you many happy memories of a great guy.
Sincerely,
Cheryl (Meisner) Castner

Dear Ones,
Although I am unable to be there to share tears and remembrances of Tom, I share your great sorrow at his passing.
I treasure many fond recollections of times spent together as cousins growing up in Green Bay and at a multitude of family gatherings with Grandma Rose at Shawano Lake.
Not one to merely sit around it’s easy to see why Tom became an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sports and active recreational activities. He would prefer to be on the frontlines, not the sidelines! How wonderful that he shared the joy of many activities and travel adventures with his children.
Would anyone disagree that wisdom, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, generosity, selflessness, integrity and character would aptly be attributed to Tom? I’m confident that he would give his sincerest best whether engaged in an engineering project of great magnitude or simply helping a neighbor.
With a smile I recall Tom’s hint of mischief and heap of compassion. It is evident that his caring and generosity extended to those close at hand and was selflessly expressed to a world in need when he chose to willingly answer the call to share his gifts and skills as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
Tom undoubtedly touched many hearts…..a life measured by time spent for others, by the sharing of gifts and talents, by love poured out.
As we grieve the loss and struggle with our emotions, God stands ready to bring healing to our deeply saddened hearts. God is always by our side, providing guidance and strength. When grief is lifted, there will again be comfort, peace and understanding.
Loving thoughts are with you,
Jan Kucher
