My deapest sympathy for Toms wife and family. Tom was an usher at my wedding in 1986. Although we moved on in life with friends and family he is still a fond memory for me and my wfe. The best Left handed drummer that I have ever had a chance to jam with. I had the pleasure a couple of years to jam with him. Time to time He came into my work to purchase material for his job. We talked about the crazy 80's and jamming. He will Be missed dearly. Rest and Rock in Peace!

I was so sad to read about the death of your brother/uncle. Lois, I know he had a special place in your heart. Please accept my sincerest sympathy.
"Pain and Suffering have come into your life, but remember pain, sorrow, suffering are but the kiss of Jesus-a sign that you have come so close to Him that He can kiss you."

My prayer to you is that you hold Him close and allow Him to "kiss" and comfort you at this time of such a great loss. Love to all...

To the Ring family,
Even now four days after Tom's passing there is still a great sorrow deep in my heart. I miss my morning talks with Tom greatly. For the past 7 years Tom and I worked together at TDS and would always find the time every morning to touch base. Our conversations were of all kinds of topics from family, pets, religion and politics. We agreed on most things and sometimes would agree to disagree.
In his passing I wish to convey to you his passions in life that he shared with me. Some of these you may already know but unfortunately when someone leaves us so soon in life things are often felt but left unsaid.
Michelle, without a doubt you were his greatest passion. I can tell you that Tom's #1 priority in life was to love you unconditionally. He always wanted to give you the world. He always wanted to be the best husband for you. I can only say that because he not only said it once but a thousand times of how beautiful you are and how you swept him off his feet from the first time he laid eyes on you and every day after.
Tom would also talk a lot about family and his sister Kay. Tom would talk of your days as kids and how you could always make him laugh. I know God has Tom watching over you as your guardian angel as Tom always felt strong about protecting you.
He truly loved his two dogs. Tom would always top my dog stories. The figure eights the gray hound could do in the backyard. That dog can fly!! Lassie has nothing on that beagle either. His stories were the best bar none.
Tom's love for his Mom, Dad and Grandpa was extraordinary. Grandpa who was Tom's superman in the musician world. He often would talk about Grandpa's great passion and dedication when playing at the night clubs on his Dobro guitar.
In closing my time with Tom every morning was a window to his likes, loves passions and heat breaks. We all have them. God has placed certain people in our lives to point us to what is truly important. A common goal of being with God and his Son forever. Tom was my guide, brother and dearest friend.
My mornings are not the same without you my friend. I heard everything that was on your mind for the past seven years and my last duty to you is to pass this open door to your loved ones on what we talked about.
