Not sure what to say?

First and foremost I would like to say I came to love Tim and Kathy and Danny and Nicky. They took me in when I had no place to go. I thank God for their open hearts to this day. I felt, for the first time in a very long time, safe, secure and that I counted. Little did either of them know when it was time for me to go, I didnt want to. I wanted to stay with them and I knew for a fact I wldve been happy. Those two lit up my funny bone just the way they interacted and it was all I cld do not to burst with the laughter that was in me, well until I went to my room and they turned in. To this day my favorite author is James Herriot and I like songs by Carol King tht I wld listen to there. Kathy, I love you more today and I already told Tim this today. I can say truth here that how you impacted me in everyway I cld be, well, I thank both of you with a heart you both helped remake. I will tell u, when life is a bag of euuuu, when I want to give up sometimes, I really do think of you and Tim. Love without end. Susie.

Dear Kathy, I am sad for you and the boys and imagine time can't take most of the missing away. To this day you and Tim have been the closest to my heart in ways I won't say. I will say the both of you were the best for me and I followed tht. Two humans cld not have been knitted together better than you and him. I smile and chuckle to this day bc it wasn't only Tim...but u were a character too. Together, you two gave me some hardy laughs after all was quiet in the house. I love you. Susie.

Who wrote the obituary? It could have been channeled by Tim. I still have tears in my eyes. Tim was a man among boys, a legend among legends, a sooth-sayer, a gentle wit, a highly unusual man. I was one of his teachers and I claim no credit for his formation. It was my first year teaching and I was not a good teacher, not yet well-read, not mature enough to contribute much to young minds. ( Taking a page from how Tim might phrase it, " but I became good.") He was everything I admire: Irish, a skilled writer, a positive force, a man possessed of a magnificent sense of humor, a fun person to be near, a leg-puller, God-fearing in the best sense, a family man and that trite phrase means something in his case. I only saw him a few times after his high school years, just a year or so ago at a reunion. Shackled as he was by disease, a smile lit his face the whole night. When I think of Tim I think of a literate man, a servant leader/husband/father. Our family is gathering from afar on the very day of his service. Tim, the ultimate family man, would make the same decision I must make. I regret not being able to be there to honor him. I have this view of time and eternity: our sense of time is severely limited; God's is not. Any prayer I offer for Tim, whenever it is uttered, registers at the moment of his earthly death. Therefore I will continue to pray for him. May the angels lead him into Paradise, may the martyrs come to greet him. He will soon have them smiling.

My uncle Tim was the best of the best. But, you all know that if you knew him.

Tim, you were my best friend in KU. You were older and wiser, with the best sense of humor. We had beer at the Freestate Brewery on Mass. St. And I remember your OP house which you invited me to. I will never forget the jokes we made about "prominent" faculty and other students.. Your witt was legendary. I will always remember you. Rest in peace my friend.
