Timothy Tice Obituary

Tice, Timothy "Tim" F. 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Saint Francis, Wisconsin. He was born May 13, 1955 to Frederick and Dorothy (Winski) Tice in Cudahy, Wisconsin. On May 12, 1990 he married Joan Yakel Tice in Suring, Wisconsin. Tim enjoyed camping, bowling and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Joan; his 4 children, Jesse Tice of Lakeville, MN, Kevin Tice of Milwaukee, Lindsey Tice (Jonathan Young) of Saint Francis and Sean Tice of Milwaukee; 4 siblings Fred (Mickie) Tice of Milwaukee, Chris (Kathy) Tice of Hillsboro, Marge (Joe) Smith of Elwood, IN, and John (Cindy) Tice of Milwaukee; mother in law Fern Cramer of Suring; in laws Jay Yakel (Rose Heckl) of Suring, Jean (Robert) Greggs of Greensboro, NC, Robert (Lisa) Yakel of Suring, Kim (Jesse) Kern of Crandon, Rus Yakel of Eau Claire; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-laws Marion "Chum" Yakel and John Cramer; and nephew Joshua Wech. Tim served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant. In addition, he worked 31 years for the USDA as a food safety supervisor. He was an active member of the Saint Francis Lions Club, the South Milwaukee Knights of Columbus Council #1709, the AMVETS and the Retired Air Force Association. A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME( 3774 W Underwood Avenue, Cudahy, Wisconsin).
