Hello to all the family and friends who loved and cherished Ty. Approaching soon will be two years since Ty's death, February 21st. We have all missed him so much. Ty could walk in a room and literally light it up. He touched us all with so much love, kindness, warmth and he was so handsome. I truely miss looking deeply in to his beautiful blue eyes, the windows to his soul.

In the past two years he has been missed by all. However, we all have Ty as our guardian angel 24/7. There is not a DAY, or for that matter a HOUR that goes by that I don't think about him or mention him.

Ty loved his grandson Austin soooo very very much. They liked to snuggle and play alot. Ty would rub his face gently to relax him just like his father did to him when he was a youngman. He now has a granddaughter too. He is always looking out for the two of them. He would have loved Adrianna Makena and I wish he could have met her. She would have melted his heart with those big puppy eyes she got from Mommy. He would be so proud of you Sarah, and you to Arnie. Both of the kids are such a blessing to all of us.

Ty a little message from your wife. I love you and always will. Someday we will be together again. As I used to tell you, "Even in death I will find you". Keep a close eye and protect all of us who miss and love you. I'll see you in my dreams sweetheart. Happy Valentines Day!

Your best friend, wife, and lover,

Karen

Ty, I heard the news of your passing just yesterday and cannot express how sad I am. You provided me with so many hysterical memories from childhood throughout middle school. You and my brother, Ed, were always playing tricks on me and my sister Cindy whenever you were over, which was almost every day. Like the time you and Ed put my hand in water when I was sleeping just to see if I'd have an accident in bed! I remember you sleeping over all the time at our house in Greendale. I didn't even mind when I heard you were coming over, even though I knew I had better watch out because you guys would be up to no good. :) Your golden chlorine bleached hair was something I'll always remember too. Thanks for the many tips on how to play basketball and baseball and for teaching me the game of Truth or Dare! Remember those bats flying around at Jaycee Park? You were lots of fun to hang with and it appears, from the many people who knew you into adulthood, that you were still a wonderful person to be around. I am so sorry that you are gone but know that we'll all be together again some day. To your wife Karen, I will pray for you and your daughter that the hard times will get easier to manage as time goes by. I hope the past month and a half that Ty has been gone has been times of memory building. My heart is also very heavy for Austin. Continue to keep memories of Ty alive! He was a blessing to those of us fortunate enough to know him, whether in childhood or adulthood. I know that my Mom, who helped Ty through some tough times when he was young, was there to greet Ty at heaven's gate. He's in good hands. God Bless.

PS...Karen, thanks for keeping this site open and for the wonderful photo gallery of your dear husband.

Ty, you've always been like a brother I never had. I remember the time I ran away from home, and you, your mom and sister let me stay with you. The so many good times we had growing up; the football, the baseball, the basketball. All those sandlot games. Those great times at the mall. The times we hopped the fence to go swimming. The skateboarding, the bike riding, the bowling. The time you got tired of that jawbreaker we got at Ferrel's at Southridge, and you threw it, and I happened to be right in line with your throw, and I took a direct hit in the forehead! I would take those blows to the head all day long just to have you back with us. I wish we could have kept better in touch after high school. I loved you Ty. I will miss you my friend!! Ed Richter

I'm so sorry to hear this. My sister sent me Ty's obituary. I grew up with Ty. I remember his parents building their first house in Greendale; Ty must have been around 7! We used to play ball together. He had this crazy dog "Panzer"...Ty was always decent and honest, a good friend. Always treated others with respect. I can't believe I'll never see him again. My heart goes out to Karen and Vicky and all Ty's great friends who loved him and still do.

Karen and Sarah, I am sorry to hear the news about Ty. We were good friends in 7th and 8th grade and drifted a part in High School.

I lived behind his house in Greendale. We were both really in to skateboarding and sports. Ty was a great athlete. Please see Psalm 91:1-2 for strength and encouragement during this time of grief.

Take care.

Ty,

It's sad to see you go...makes you realize we're all mere mortals. Some of my fondest memories with you were playing little league baseball with you...and it seemed like we were on the same team every year, with you're dad as the coach. You always made practice a blast!

Take care,

I will never forget the years of friendship we had. Growing up with you as my childhood friend has given me lifelong memories and a kind of friendship that I can only hope my children are able to experience. I am sorry we lost touch. I think of you often to this day, and I would have loved to have met your wife and children, and I wish that my children would have been able to meet you. I hope and pray that your family and friends are able to cope with their great loss. Your friend always – Dale Voss
