Vernetta Zadra Obituary

Zadra, Vernetta "Vicky" (Nee Kane) Of Mequon. Lived her life always faithful to God, family and friends. Entered into Eternal Life on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the age of 85 years. Happily married for 37 years to the late Mario Zadra. Preceded in death by her sister Rita McCue, and dear friends John and Lois Mesich. Cherished mother of Candyce Straus, Thomas (Mi-Jung) Zadra, Patricia (Tony Karabon) Zadra, and Terry Zadra. Devoted grandmother of Keri (Simon) Allard, Marci (Joe) Lee, Toriann Straus, Andrew and Katherine Karabon and Mario Zadra. Great-grandmother of John and Isabella Lee, Victoria and Henry Allard. Dear sister-in-law of Louis and Lillian Zadra. Dear friend of Julie Carufel and her dog Coach who provided love, tender care, humor and great food for our mom during her final eight months of life. Further survived by other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the dedicated professionals at Ascera Care for their compassionate care. Visitation Thursday, January 22, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the HOME of the Karabon Family, 3150 Grace Ave., Mequon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2700 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon. Private entombment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
