The beauty of a rose...thanks to Erik, Mom enjoyed this beauty before she died.
January 29, 2009

Mom loved this white rose from Erik. She showed it to me with a big smile the night before her accident.

How I've been wishing this were all a bad dream. It all seems surreal. I can't believe I'll never have a two-way conversation with my mom again. If I would have known that Friday, December 26, was the last day I would see mom alive, I would have said and done so much more. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. Her creativity, generosity, caring, and love will be missed.

Pam - So sorry about the loss of your mom but your mom will always live in your heart. I didn't know your mom, Pam, but she raised a wonderful woman and I'm sure she loved you very much and was very proud to call you her daughter. You & your family are in our prayers.

To the Eckholdt's we are so sorry to here about Vickie. She will be missed so much by us. We will miss seeing her outside doing what she did best her yardwork. Halie will miss her and going out to help or just someone she could talk to even if Travis wasn't there. She was like a second Grandma to my kids. She will be turly missed.

Vickie -
You were a 2nd Mom to me and so many others in the neighborhood. Your kind heart and constant encouragement of our dreams and talents are great memories I hold today. I will greatly miss your smile and hugs. When the weather gets nice I will be by to visit daily because you are forever in my heart.
Much Love - Dawn
