Lois I think about you often and decided to see if I could google you, this is what I found. I'm so very sorry to you and the family & friends about Bill's passing. Though it's been more than a few months, it's new to me. I'm sorry and hope you're carrying on with strength and courage while being surrounded by love. He'll always be with you! My deepest condolences. I was saddened to find out "Uncle" Bill died. My mom Joan (Manning) Markiewicz, was third or so cousins with Bill. They grew up with summers at Pewaukee lake at their Grandmother's houses. My dad Harold Markiewicz, was best friends with Bill around high school age and beyond. My parents met through Bill. He was very important to both of them for many early years. Other than my dad Bill was by far the most important man in my mom's whole life. They were like brother and sister. As life moved on they no longer shared in each other's lives. I think they each saw Bill once in the last 20 years, but Bill as always was big brother to my mom. I came upon this page because my dad just died on Feb 25th,2019, and my mom wrote Bill a four page letter to send him. Now, it was simply therapeutic, she is comforted in the knowledge that the most important men in her life went peacefully and are at rest.

So sorry to hear the passing of Bill. Remember you guys from our years of bowling at Red Carpet Waukesha, many moons ago. In fact Bill sponsored us back then New Berlin Plastics. Sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. You have our deepest sympathy.
